BRIAN HOUCHIN
HVAC Lead & Owner | Supervising Electrician | Heat Pump Installer
Brian loves to learn—whether it’s exploring a new heat pump feature or teaching himself new guitar “licks,” he’s always challenging himself and expanding what he knows.
Brian leads Peak’s HVAC work and is our supervising electrician. He meets with homeowners for site visits, designs solutions for their homes, oversees installations, and works hands-on in the field. After 25+ years as an electrician, Brian has a great mind for designing heat pump and electrical systems around each customer’s needs.
THE HOUCHIN KIDS
Family Installation & Service Support
Brian and Gretchen’s kids have grown up alongside Peak and are an important part of our family-business story. They lend a hand with installations, cleaning and maintenance, and diagnostics as needed.
Being involved in the family business gives them hands-on experience while learning the value of hard work, taking care of customers, and serving their community.
CORY HANKS
Journeyman Residential Electrician
Born in Washington, Cory moved to Sweet Home in 1995 and now calls Corvallis home. He brings eight years of experience as a journeyman electrician, along with two years as an apprentice.
Cory handles Peak’s electrical work, including service calls, troubleshooting, panel changes, EV chargers, and other residential electrical projects. On HVAC projects, Cory’s role is focused specifically on the electrical work needed for the installation.
Cory enjoys the challenges each job presents and finding solutions to things homeowners may have thought were impossible. He especially enjoys serving the community and meeting different people along the way.
When he’s not working, Cory can often be found riding motocross or downhill mountain biking.
GRETCHEN HOUCHIN
Owner | Operations & Administration | Heat Pump Installer
Gretchen wears many hats, but one of her favorites is being Mom to three children. When she’s not working, she loves being outside, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
Gretchen is Peak’s majority owner and keeps much of the business moving behind the scenes. She handles operations, project coordination, rebates and incentive programs, and much of Peak’s administrative work. When her office schedule allows, you may also find her lending a hand with heat pump installations.
CANDICE LAPAD
Scheduling | Social Media | Peak Comfort Club Coordinator
Candice helps keep Peak customers connected and informed. She coordinates HVAC site visits and electrical scheduling, manages Peak’s social media, and helps share useful information and updates through our website.
She also coordinates Peak Comfort Club, helping customers stay connected with Peak and making ongoing care and communication easier after their project is complete.
